Because the screensaver is cool looking? ;-)

I tend to do that. Now I have one big clock as screensaver and can put another 
5-10 Plasma clocks on top of it. Yay, clocks! :D

Personally, I set the auto-lock on after two minutes (one minute after the 
screensaver turns on) a lot of time ago, and now wherever I go I don't ever 
have to touch it.

And, well, if you disable security consciously, then it's really your 
business...
