vlc backend stream playing problem

Hello,

I'm trying to stream video from a mini cam (kx191), its being streamed to
udp port to network (broadcast)

i could only view the stream with vlc player ( no success with gstreamer or
xine ( i'll post some reports for them later) )
so wanted to give phonon vlc-backend a try.

I wrote a sample media player application [0], can stream urls, or play
files,
but no success with udp stream.

i have absolutely no experience in media playing or phonon, so i could be
doing something stupid. Any ideas are welcome either about
vlc backend, or gstreamer, xine related stuff etc. and thanks in advance

Listing some logs / information
