Phonon for QuickTime on Windows?

Hi Sam,

 

If you have a quicktime filter that allows you to play back quicktime content, you should be able to do it with the mediaplayer demo. The best thing you can do is try graphedit (graphed.exe) from the Platform SDK and simply drag your movie onto it and see if you get a graph or an error. Basically, Phonon does the same.

How can I play QuickTime movies with a Qt/Phonon widget on Windows XP?

I've installed the Qt 4.4 demo and run the Media Player demo. This works fine with wmv and other formats, but with QuickTime I only get an audio track. (I've installed a DirectShow QuickTime filter and can play QuickTime in Windows Media Player.)

I asked about this on qt-interest list and had a suggestion to ask here.
