I think that's a nicer API to work with.

My only suggestion would be to possibly have the result signal from ServiceJob 
relayed via Service.  So users could connect to result on Service and get the 
result of every ServiceJob created with it (since there is a pointer to go 
with it).  If they wanted to send it different places, they could also connect 
directly to the ServiceJob result signal.
