 They can be. Backtraces with debug symbols are better, but the ones without 
them can be useful as well, assuming they are not broken. The fact whether a 
backtrace is broken or not probably does not depend on debug symbols, at 
least not exclusively.

 So DrKonqi is now part of Plasma too? The right list for this is 
kde-core-devel.

 DrKonqi already has support for checking whether a backtrace is useful or 
not, in BackTrace::usefulBacktrace(). If it doesn't detect some that can be 
detected, feel free to fix it.
