In 'Apps -> Tools -> Editors' I have gVim with it's icon. When I use 'add to favorites'/'add to panel'/'add to desktop' all I got is default icon.

The behaviour of resulting icon is different in each case. Common parts are default icon, description "gvim.desktop" in each case (gvim\ngvim.desktop in Favorites menu).

Favorites: select == run
Panel: select == run Kate with ~/gvim.desktop
Desktop: select == run Kate with ~/gvim.desktop

I hope that one day it will get fixed.
