steps to reproduce:

1.) start kde and have the plasma cashew nut configurator in the right upper corner
2.) move your cursor on it and watch it grow
3.) move your cursor off and watch it shrink
4.) be quick: move cursor back on the configurator while it shrinks

happy flickering! can be resolved by clicking anywhere on the desktop, btw.
