Hello Aaron,

since people continue to flame you for the zoom in/out tool, I figured I'd
provide you with a real world example of its use: my own personal experience.

Currently I have three activities (going to be three soon) on my
computer: "general/leisure", "book writing", "programming/work". Right now,
each activity contains two folder views attached to a specific directory
(general: desktop, book: laTeX working dir and FTP, programming: main
programming dir, SFTP to my work machine) and I switch to them depending on
what I'm doing. Also, depending on the activity I have different notes
Plasmoids, and on the leisure one a photo frame.

This is one of the features that made me say "why didn't anyone think about it
sooner!". I zoom in and out of them (or use the shortcuts) and move between
one and another. It is a very useful features because the different
activities are already "customized" to the specific work environment I use.

It is hardly useless. It has boosted my productivity and focus.

All in honesty, I wish KDE 4.1. would be out now because I'm dying to install
it on my office machine...

Thanks a lot for your work, I hope that mails like these will also show you
that aside the annoying, complaining community, there are people who have
already benefited from your work on Plasma and are thankful for it.
