People, please stop using this bug entry to make comments such as "it is a fundamental feature" or something like that. bugs.kde.org is a bug reporting tool, not a means for you to complain about a missing feature (whether that is right or not, it makes no difference here). It won't help making the feature implemented faster. 
Let's not make the lives of the developers harder, shall we?
I'm sorry for creating more noise in the ML but I feel that if this isn't clearly communicated, people will still confuse Bugzilla for a discussion tool.
