Aaron, I do not understand, why you still answer to these kind of bugs.

They do not change your mind, so just don't and listen to people around you 
instead. I am sure they will mediate the "general opinion" to you in a lot 
less never-wracking way.

To others, you won't change Aaron's mind with this bug-report, simply because 
it is just a dead discussion, no matter who's right or wrong or has to justify 
xy. Aaron wants to show you the vision by implementing it and he will do so. 
If you don't like it, you will simply have to hope that you are not a 
minority. If not, there might be people who start another desktop, i.e. some 
replacement or variant of plasma, Aaron won't.

AFAIK, in opensuse there is a hidden setting for 4.0.x and maybe even the 
4.1.x packages, if they are released, to disable it, just google for the blog 
that reports which it is. If you distro does not provide it, bug them or 
change to the distro that meets your needs.

No matter what or how or why, this bug-report is dead and dows not produce any 
value but just annoy everybody connected to it.
