they are non-intuitive because we haven't offered a GUI to swap between them. this will be coming in 4.2. it means that people need to understand the technical details rather than point and click at something a bit less abstract on their screen.

also keep in mind that anything you haven't known before is "unintuitive". that includes the nipple (no, i'm not joking; and yes, that's a Steve Jobs reference).

i'm tired of dealing with this issue, mostly because the comments here are from people who seem to feel they understand something they have really very little understanding of.

if you find that an annoying statement, i suggest you go talk to your local quantum physicist about the small scale world all around (and in) us to find another topic you are similarly out of your depth in (assuming you aren't a quantum physicist ;) and then you and i can commiserate together on how much it sucks to not have a deep understanding of everything in the world.

between now and then, like it or hate it or don't care about or whatever, but stop wasting my time by chatting about it here where it ends up in my inbox.

realize that my other option is to just unsubscribe from all bug reports and start ignoring every report out of respect for my time and energy. that seems like a far worse thing than you simply accepting the conclusion in this report.

watch how things evolve, by all means. you won't be disappointed. perhaps that makes it a bit more frustrating too: we're working to get everything in place where everyone can be happy and while we do so people continue to waste time with these discussions as if nothing is happening.
