Open the Add widgets dialog and add a plasmoid to the desktop. The count of this plasmoid increases by 1 in the dialog. Drag this plasmoid to the panel. The counter for this plasmoid increases once again, while no new plasmoid is added.

If I close the dialog before moving the plasmoid to the panel, and open it after, the counter does not increase.
