           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: panel-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: potentator potentator net
Version: (using KDE 4.0.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
Compiler: gcc version 4.2.3 (Ubuntu 4.2.3-2ubuntu7) x86_64-linux-gnu
OS: Linux
If selecting of icons by rectangle was legally restricted, it can be omitted by selecting icons by drawing a curved boundary, like with a brush, around them. When the drawn figure close, all icons in it are marked/selected. If there are no legal patents around this or normal method it can be added as an option in window behavior setting. E. g. for people who likes original ways to use their computers.
