Hi Riccardo,

there are plenty of use cases. Although you are probably right, that 
right now they might be hard to anticipate.

Imagine containment layouts getting a bit more advanced, especially with 
a physics engine powered layout, it might be necessary to freely rotate 
applets, for example when applets bounce into one another.

In general, multi-user input, like on touchwalls and tablet-pcs, 
necessitates the ability to orient interface elements towards different 
users, who are placed around the display.
