Take a look at tabbar -- it is pretty clear how it works, which tab is active.

Take a look at taskbar -- the same here. But note, that those two are similar, yet they behave differently. For me it is not the problem, but for regular users it is. Well, maybe not the problem ("big issue"), but it would be more useful to them (more clear, more intuitive) if there would be the same indication.

So the wish: please "raise" the active entry in taskbar, so user would get similar 3d effect as in tabbar.
Less to learn for users, the better.
