Using "application-exit" instead "system-shutdown"? 
Probably it has been choosed to use "system-shutdown" because it is a common
graphic used to shutdown electrical devices (you find it on TV, household
appliances...)

I don't know.

P.S: Artist will not like this idea, he he he :-p
