Some problems in plasma panel when it's placed vertically:
1. Much space wasted above and below clock applet. Also, there's no option in
it's configuration to setup font sizes, so the hour is displayed as big as the
panel is wide and date is displayed in minuscule size much below the hour (date
is not shown in this screenshot, but the described behaviour is easily
verifiable).
2. Pager is awfully placed in panel (just aesthetics, though. No harm here)
3. Notifier icon too big and disproportional, it grows until it's as wide as
the panel)
4. Wasted space below notifier
5. When the clock is clicked, the calendar is shown at a very odd position. The
same happens when the notifier is clicked.
