Summary: Can't log back in after locking session, have to restart
                    X.
           Product: plasma
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: grave
          Priority: NOR
         Component: desktop
        AssignedTo: panel-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: mstarkey wcsgabon org

When I lock the session (Kickoff - Leave - Lock) then try to log back in to my
session, kde does not recognise my password (nb to make sure it wasn't me
making a typo I shortened my password to 3 characters temporarily).
The only way of logging back in (as that user) is to kill X. This occurs with
a minimal session (no running applications).

How can I provide more information about this - are there any log files I
should post? (NB I am running trunk on Fedora 8 as per the instructions on
techbase). Fedora 8 uses gdm, if that makes any difference here.

Thanks for your help.
