Icon Text Shadow (Down with icon backgrounds!)

In KDE3 there was a shadow around every letter which is a lot clearer than the 
normal shadow because it sourrounds the letter everywhere and not just one or 
two sides. IMHO normal shadows are not enough compared to what the background 
or sourrounding shadows achieve.
