Hi,

I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly but did you try
the following URL ?
-> https://$USER:$PASS@mail.google.com:443/mail/feed/atom

Replacing the $USER and $PASS by the correct values will return back
an ATOM feed with some useful infos you'd reuse for your notifier.
