Summary: entering a web address (without protocol) no longer
                    works in KDE4
           Product: krunner
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: panel-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: jjm keelhaul me uk

Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc version 4.1.2 (Gentoo 4.1.2 p1.0.1)
OS: Linux

In KDE3 it was possible to do Alt+F2, type www.kde.org then Return, and get to the expected web page. Now in KDE4 that no longer seems to work, the address is duplicated in the krunner box and goes to the wrong place when konqueror opens. See screen shot for entry, clicking "launch" at that stage tries (and fails) to open http://www.kde.org/www.kde.org in Konqueror.

Typing http://www.kde.org in the krunner box works.

Bug 151474 was already reported for something similar, but has been fixed.
