First of all, I think there you be a friendly way to edit the menu. Starting the Menu Editor as a separate application doesn't seem to be intuitive and user friendly. Also, it would cool if menu items could be editable by right-clicking on them.
However, the most important issue is that after making changes with the menu editor and saving, Kickoff is not updated correctly. I've changed some icons and only the Firefox icon changed in Kickoff (?) and only within the applications menu, not favorites.
