Sounds somewhat like it may a duplicate or is related to bug #157437 then. What I wonder about is the "some seconds later" part since that doesn't match into any other report :-/

Daniel: and to install the debug-packages, as described at http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157599#c4 , is not an option aka not possible (that would help us to produce a more useful backtrace)? ;)
