When hovering cursor over an application icon on task manager to get the preview tooltip, the actual picture of the application is drawn quickly, but the
surrounding box containing the picture and the name and desktop of the application come to exist after about three to five seconds or by moving the mouse cursor away from the task after which the surrounding box gets quickly drawn and as it should, disappears. Sometimes a faint, transparent version of the box is drawn before the real box comes out.

I have compositing enabled.
