Summary: Panel get's screwed up when moving to side of desktop
           Product: plasma
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: panel-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: kde opensource sf-tec de

Version: (using Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

I moved my panel to the left side of my desktop. My panel applets are:

-K-Menu
-shutdown/logoff button
-Window list
-workspace chooser
-systray
-digital clock

After the change the the panel takes about ~40% of screen width and the logoff buttons are that huge that they don't even fit on my screen. Also they are in front of everything else.

Minor things like the window icons drawn left of the captions taking away space to make the caption readable or the workspace chooser not automatically changing it's rowcont to (number of workspaces/current row count) are more or less cosmetical ...
