multiple desktops and background painting

in the case that the user selects to have different containments on different 
desktops (again, not really addressed but as a possibility this opens up with 
the 1:1 desktop:view approach), the containment they select may have anything 
on it.

the default set up would be to have that one DefaultDesktop containment which 
has the desktop icons on it.

as soon as the user starts doign more plasma-like things (e.g. having 
per-virtual desktop containments) we start to ignore traditional desktop icon 
issues more and more.

in other words, it's a non-issue.
