Summary: taskbar: windows that are minimized when logging out can
not be raised in new session
           Product: plasma
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: panel-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: missive hotmail com

Version: 4.0.3 (KDE 4.0.3) (using 4.0.3 (KDE 4.0.3), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

Some applications that are minimized when I log out are having problems when I log back in.

After logging back in, I can see the applications minimized in the taskbar, but when I click on them, they do not come up. However: I do see them come up in the desktop pager preview.

The apps I have most trouble with are: Firefox, Thunderbird and Inkscape, but there is also something weird going on with Kate.

Kate windows come back up from minimized, but might show up in different places in the taskbar, the switcher, and where it gets maximized to. So -- it might show up in the desktop 3 taskbar (I have the bar set to show only applications from this desktop), but it is actually on desktop 6. Might be related somehow to Bug 117618.
