Summary: Tooltip painting halts painting of newly-unminimized
                    KDE3 apps
           Product: plasma
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Ubuntu Packages
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: panel-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: echidnaman gmail com

Version: (using KDE 4.0.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux

When taskbar tooltips are activated while a KDE3 app is doing its initial paint after unminimizing, the KDE3 app stops painting the window. The application will resume painting once the tooltip goes away.

To reproduce:
-Use a KDE3 app that paints somewhat slowly, such as Konversation in a big chatroom. The initial painting that goes on with unminimizing a maximized Konversation window in a fairly big IRC channel takes quite a bit and will make the bug easiest to reproduce.
-Now, quickly, mouse over to an adjacent taskbar entry and activate the tooltip.
-Watch as Konversation stops mid-paint.

I also tried this with KDE3 Akregator and got the same results.
