found another issue:

+    m_viewConfig =  new KConfigGroup(m_mainConfig, 
QString::number(panel->id()));

this assumes a 1:1 relationship for view:containment which is not guaranteed 
(the containment for the view may change, there may be more than one view on 
the containment....) . i suppose we'll need a View id system as well. not a 
big deal =) i'm working on that now, providing a KConfigGroup View::config() 
that hides all that uglyness =)
