When installing new packages the Application Launcher menu does not refresh with the new applications until KDE restart, or in a new instance of the Launcher menu. Makes it difficult to use recently added applications (e.g. I installed OpenOffice and it will not appear until KDE restarted / create a dummy launcher on the desktop).

Application Launcher should refresh / watch the installed application list.
