That was an effort to port the original KDE 3 code base which hasn't
seen much activity since the initial port, presumably because the
developers were being kept busy with other things.

I started with it initially but given that it is quite tied to Kicker
and the Qt3 / KDE 3 frameworks (using the Qt 3 support classes) I
decided it would be easier to start afresh.  I dropped a line to the
original developers so they are aware of this new implementation (in
fact, I think it was Dirk who suggested at Akademy to do this).
