Brilliant thanks, that is *looking* far better for me, I've not been 
able to get it to crash again. However it's my work PC and I'm about to 
go home for the weekend, so I'll know for sure better on Monday whether 
it's completely fixed it. It's a Matrix G[45]50 xinerama setup BTW.
