[Panel-devel] config() in Plasma weirdness with applets

Hi Aaron/everyone, 

I've noticed config() in applets doesn't work properly.  

Use case: Open one instance of the battery applet, save changes, close applet. 
The config gets saved. Drag another battery instance, open the config dialog, 
all settings are reset to a non-configured applet. Save changes, you'll see 2 
configs generated in $HOME/.kde/share/apps/plasma/applets/  

For the weather applet, I get even more bizarre behavour. When closing an 
applet Plasma undoes all the config changes and the config file is 0 bytes 
(not always but it seems to do this randomly?)
