I still haven't heard anyone say anything about how this is going to affect 
applets on the panel. are they going to have this hover thing too, or some 
different hover thing, or is right-click going to be allowed for them?

I'm a bit out of the loop right now, but it seems I can't do anything to the 
applets on my panel, and that's no fun.
