It depends though, if I want each ion to have different times to sync forecast information. Right now I use one QTimer for all of them to pull at once.

Yes, I do need to be able to set a timer interval for when all of the forecast information should be refreshed. I should limit it to a minimal of 30 minute intervals or greater.

right, and this can probably get stored on the applet side's config. i don't 
think this is a problem
