what i meant by a registry is somewhere they are documented, so that plasmoid 
writers can reference the existing set of categories and not make up their 
own randomly. for now a list on techbase in Projects/Plasma will do.

possibly... worth trying out in any case.

feel free to commit; i would change the apidox for knownCategories to 
say "used by installed applets" rather than "used by loaded applets"
