Both were me. :|

Lancelot is fixed and was caused by the taskmanager changes. I keep forgetting 
to check extragear and playground on these types of changes...

I'm looking at the notes issue at the moment. The fix for desktop icons all 
stacking on top of each other is what caused it, so I'm looking into how to 
fix one without breaking the other.
