I love the 'more stylish' buttons as shown earlier in this thread. Also of
course icons on buttons make it beautiful and easier to spot some function.

The developer that chooses such a long title for a button should get a kick in
the ass anyway. :-)
OTOH, filling up the whitespace makes for better alignment and is almost
certainly easier on the eye. Wades comments from a while back on the
alignment of the widgets in kickoff is also true in this place.
