Sorry, but in that sense if I create a new text editor which cannot save the text, than I can say that this is not a bug, but a not implemented feature. 
Bug doesn't mean only that it is implemented, but works wrong (e.g. I can move the applets to left), but that something is not working. If it is not working because there is no code that does it or because the code is broken is simply not important. 
All in all, I hope that is fixed or implemented for the 4.0 release, whether it is classified as a wish or a bug.
