yes, the icon should be resized.
as for text... I think it probably should follow some standard font size, and 
not grow. the entire text should be displayed, of course, as long as that's 
possible. should there be a minimum size that ensures all the text is visible 
and the icon isn't shrunk beyond a certain size?
