The idea is not to be insulting but to describe what I think is a major problem. Can we deal with the issue, please? There are a scant 125 issues filed in TOTAL regarding plasma. I doubt that this is representative.

This has been the subject of discussion in numerous user forums.

As is, the KDE4 panel is significantly less functional than the 3.5 panel. Moreover, there exists no means of configuring it differently. I cannot tell from the filed bug reports what will - or will not - be resolved.
