Hi,

I just want to mention something that could be relevant to plasma:

Mozilla Firefox 1.5 beta supports the new canvas element that was
introduced with Max OS X dashboard. It is also implemented in later
versions of Safari. This element is now also specified in this spec
from WhatWG:

What do you think of ecmascript + xhtml markup + canvas as a simple
way to develop  applets and simple widgets in plasma?
