Thanks for this info. I've been looking in the Administrator's manual, 
your wiki on github and googled on '\OCP\Util' and 'addScript' but found 
no instructions (just the API documentation). Plus I also trawled the 
ownCloud server distrib.

Could you tell me where I might find some instructions about how to do 
this?
