[Owncloud] 32 bit Mac OsX syncing

Hi Owncloud people

I'm 150% impressed with the latest Owncloud and I'm running on it on a
Raspberrypi with much success. However, I'm lacking an option to sync old
(but working) 32 bit Mac computers.  I know I can use webdav (
http://doc.owncloud.org/server/5.0/user_manual/files/files.html) to sync
files but this is very slow esp with the limited CPU of the raspberrypi.
Is there another way to sync files automagically ?
