Not yet, but we are working on a solution, see the discussion here:
https://github.com/owncloud/core/issues/3555#issuecomment-18908495

PS: The only think that doesn't work for LDAP at the moment is the
recovery action itself. But you can activate the recovery feature
independent from your user backend and will be able to recover user
files as soon as it is implemented. This shouldn't take that long, it's
mainly a UI question.
