... which is (hopefully) now, I did a fix to the SSL handling today. It 
works nicely here. I also added the proxy option again because that is 
useful.

Please help testing: There is this nightly build for Mac:
http://download.owncloud.com/desktop/daily/ownCloud-1.5.0.1919-nightly20131219.dmg

That is basically 1.5.0 with this fixes. Please close the bugs if it's 
working now for you.
