This depends. If you have root access to you server the most easiest
way is to install those certificates system wide. For example the
openssl package of most GNU/Linux distributions already provides most
well known root certificates.

If you don't have root access to your server or if you don't want to
install it system wide. Than you have to look up the certificate in
your browser to see which CA authority signed the certificate. For
example dropbox certificates are issued by Thawte Inc. Their root
certificates can be found here: https://www.thawte.com/roots/index.html

Just download them and import them into your ownCloud.
