[Owncloud] Stored data encryption, how?

Many thanks -- I found the settings (the gear icon is tiny :)  and 
enabled encryption.

I changed the setting while my client was syncing about 5GB of data, and 
about 1 of it was already on the server.
So, does that 1GB get encrypted too, eventually?  Many thanks, -turgut
