[Owncloud] NewBie question

Hello. I have just downloaded and installed ownCloud by doing this
description below:

For xUbuntu 12.04, run this as root:

echo 'deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/isv:ownCloud:ownCloud2012/Ubuntu_12.04/
/' >> /etc/apt/sources.list
apt-get update
apt-get install owncloud

You can add the repository key to apt like this:

wget http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/isv:ownCloud:ownCloud2012/xUbuntu_12.04/Release.key
apt-key add - < Release.key


So far, so good. But what need I do to get it running?
I have also downloaded a ownCloud  client on my iMac but can't
connect. How can I configure clients?

I will have one ownCload server, and 2 mac, 1 windows, 1 iPhone (iOS)
and 2 smartphones with android as clients connected to the ownCload
server.

I am using Ubuntu server 12.04
