this makes totally sense. 

As an addition I would like to ask if there is going to 
be any activity concerning this at the coming Akademy in Tallin, in about 
three weeks from now. 
It would be a perfect place to: 
- sort out existing issues together
- deepen the integration into KDE
- bring the community / team closer together
- focus attention on ownCloud

As far as I can see there are still BoF slots available.
